Having Problem tweaking your IMEI? Tweak your phone's IMEI with this Simple Method.

Today, I will share how to tweak/ how to get imei easily with not much problem.

I know most of you guys have seen different posts about tweaking imei on different sites but you could not get it done due to a barrier or another.

I will solve the problem today, and you will come to testify afterward.

WHAT IS IMEI?

IMEI is short for International Mobile Equipment Identity and is a unique number given to every single mobile phone, typically found behind the battery.

IMEI numbers of cellular phones connected to a GSM network are stored in a database (EIR - Equipment Identity Register) containing all valid mobile phone equipment.

When a phone is reported stolen or is not type approved, the number is marked invalid.

The number consists of four groups that looks this:

nnnnnn--nn-nnnnnn-n

The first set of numbers is the type approval code (TAC).

The first two digits represent the country code. The rest make up the final assembly code.

The second group of numbers identifies the manufacturer:

01 and 02 = AEG

07 and 40 = Motorola

10 and 20 = Nokia

41and 44 = Siemens

51= Sony, Siemens, Ericsson

The third set is the serial number and the last single digit is an additional number (usually 0).

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO TWEAK MY IMEI?

- Get an android phone
- Get MTK ENGINEERING MODE, Worked for Gionee, Iinjoo, Infinix, Samsung, Tecno, Htc, More.

WHERE DO I GET MTK ENGINEERING MODE?

Get It #HERE

HOW DO I TWEAK IMEI/ HOW DO I KNOW MY PHONE'S IMEI?

To Get your phone's Imei, Goto Settings >> About Phone/About device

Now, let's get to work If you need to tweak any IMEI, make sure you have the DIGITS, Usually 15, But the first 9 digits are Legit. So you add 6 more digits yourself.

I know the next question is "What If I add wrong numbers/How do I know the numbers I added are valid?"

My Answer

Just add any 6 Numbers, then Go #HERE to validate(Make It A Valid One) the numbers. If You are wrong, the site will then Give you another valid IMEI, The valid IMEI will be written in blue while the Invalid Will be written in Red, So don't get confused, the one written in blue is what you need.

So to know what Device/Phone has the IMEI you got, Goto www.imei.info then Enter the IMEI in the box provided for you. This site will then tell you the phone that has the IMEI you tweaked.

Now to practicalise It.

I saw this Imei On Net 359750056321570 which belongs to TECNO PHANTOM M9

Since It has been Used, I need to generate Mine which has not been used, So I changed the last 6 digits or the last 4 digits (I added any 6 numbers) 359750056/632542 and I pasted it HERE. Then the site generated another Valid IMEI for me which also belongs to TECNO PHANTOM M9.

HOW DO I GET THE IMEI I TWEAKED INTO MY PHONE/HOW DO I CHANGE MY PHONE'S IMEI?

Click on the Mtk engineering mode you downloaded/Installed earlier.
Goto Mtk settings» Swipe your phone to "left" where you have "connectivity" Click on"CDS Information" then Click on "Radio Information" Then you see Phone 1 and Phone 2. If you want to change that of Sim 1, You Use Phone 1 and Vice versa.

If It's Phone1, you enter AT +EGMR=1,7,"IMEI NUMBER" then click on "send command" and it will reply "command sent"

If It's Phone2, you enter AT +EGMR=1,10,”IMEI NUMBER” click on send command

There should be a space within AT and + as you can see it in the screenshot.

Then Reboot your phone or Put your phone to "Air plane" mode and put the airplane off again. Then check your Imei with *#06# or use the method I afore-mentioned.

The Screenshots are explanatory.

Therefore, You've Successfully tweaked your IMEI.
